Nyiregyházi and Bunta Sugawara |
|||
Nyiregyházi's
second appearance in Japan (1982) was extensively promoted by major
massmedia including the Yomiuri Shimbun Newspaper and NHK. This was
largely due to the effort by Mr. Bunta Sugawara, a legendary film star
who appeared in numerous Japanese films (e.g. Battles without honor and humanity, Spirited away,
etc). His enthusiasm on Nyiregyházi made celebrities named as
"supporters" of EN's second appearance in Japan. Those people include:
Masayoshi Ito (Former Foreign Minister and acting Prime Minister of Japan)
Iwao Maruyama (Yomiuri Shimbun Newspaper)
Shotaro Yasuoka (Writer)
Masami Warashina (Music critic)
Yasushi Akutagawa (Composer)
Saburo Egawa (Audio Critic)
Hisashi Inoue (Writer)
Taichi Yamada (Screenwriter)
Norifumi Suzuki (Film Director)
Yoichi Higuchi (Professor of Tokyo University)
Mikio Kawaguchi (NHK)
Kazuo Aichi (President of Japan Musician Society)
Naozumi Yamamoto (Conductor/composer)
Bunta Sugawara (Action film star)
